The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Anchalika Mahavidyalaya, Gadia was constituted vide Governing Body Resolution No. 124 dated 10.12.2024 in the year 2024, in pursuance to the Higher Education Department in Government of Odisha, letter No. VIII-HE-(001)-PG-17042-0034/14/HE dated 03.08.2015, to contribute to the overall development of the College. The main responsibility of IQAC is to ensure quality enhancement of education and its sustenance in the College, to maintain quality teaching-learning practices, effective assessment and evaluation practices, quality infrastructure, development of human and non-human resources, and research output in the college; and to create a sense of nation building disposition among the stakeholders.

IQAC of the college ensures timely, well-organized and progressive performance in academic, administrative and financial tasks in the college. It ensures equitable access, enrolment, retention and performance of students in learning in the area; and ensures maintenance of adequate academic support system and services for the stakeholders.

Goals
• Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the college.
• Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
• Development and maintenance of college database for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality.
• Development of Quality Culture (Administrative / Financial / Academic / Research / Social Connectivity) in the college.
• Documentation of the various programmes /activities leading to quality improvement.
• Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.

Functions
• Annual NIRF Data Submission.
• Annual AISHE Data Submission.
• Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.
• Regular Checking and collecting updated information from the NAAC website.
• Collection of Annual Reports / Calendar / Magazines (both hard and soft copies).
• Regular documentation of all activities of the College (Departments and Office).
• Checking of College website and providing feedback on regular basis.
• Regular planning of activities at the college as well as department level.
• Conducting different audits (Administrative / Financial / Green and Energy / Ethical / Gender).
• Collecting regular feedback from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes, analyse it and implement it.
• Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
• Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
• Preparing Ten Years Road Map for the College.
• Preparation of the NAAC Visit in every five years.
