The academic session of the college is from june to May. Classes will commence after it is notified by the Principal. |

Admission to the different classes begins after the publication of the results of various examinations till the publication of the results of various examinations till the date as prescribed by the N..O.U & C.H.S..E. Odisha. |

A Student should apply to the Principal in the form prescribed by the purpose of admission to the college within the specified date on payment of Rs. 50.00 at the college counter and by post Rs. 7.00 . |

Undertaking :
Before a student is admitted to the college he/she or his/her guardian (if he/she is below 18 years of age) has to sign an undertaking in specified form to the effect that the student shall abide by the rules of the college. (Vide Article 106 of the O.E.C.) |

Each student must register in the college office the adress at which he lives any change in the address must be intimated to the office in working. |

Identity Card :
Students are advised to always keep with them the identity card which will entitle them to all privileges of college students. |
|
i) A student taking TC or C.L.C. in the middle of the year shall submit his/her Identity card can ordinarily be issued. |

ii) No duplicate Identity card can ordinarily by issued. |

Registration :
On admission into the college a student shall pay fee of Rs. 10.00 & Rs. 20.00 for +2 & +3 course respective for the registration of his/her name in the Council/University. The registration receipt is required to be produced at the time of filling up application form for Exam. & also required in the be kept with great care. |

Payment of Fees and Fine :
i) Fees must be paid before 2 P.M. on the days fixed for their collection otherwise a fine of Rs. 1.00 will be collected on the last working day of the month along with the fees. Names of the defaulters will be struck off from the college roll and re-admission would involve an additional payment of one month's tuition fees/re-admission fee. |

ii). Any fine impossed on the students will be realised along with tuition fees. |
|
iii) Exemption from default fine or-admission fee cannot be claimed by students. It solely rests on the discreation of the principal. |
|
iv) All other fees and fines including the tuition fees are to be collected form the student's before they are allowed to fill up the applicaton form for the University Examination or CHSE Examination as the case may be. |
|
v) Result of promotion to the next higher class will remain withheld for those students who have not cleared up their college due. |

C.L.C., T.C., Conduct Certificate, Mark Sheet :
i) Students intending to apply for C.L.C./TC/Conduct Certificate/Mark Sheet need apply in the prescribeed form obtainable form college office.
ii) The application is to submitted three clear days before the certificate is wanted by the student.
iii) Fees payable Certificate.
a) Transfer Certificate Original Equivalent to one month tuition fee.
b) Mark-Sheet (Duplicate) Rs. 50.00.
c) Conduct Certificate (Duplicate) Rs. 2.00.
d) Processing Fee -Rs.3.00.

Fee payable for change of subject :
Change of subject will be allowed on payment of Rs. 10.00 provided an applicant fulfill all other conditions. |

11) |
Cycle Stand :
Cycle must be padlocked and kept in the cycle stand students parking cycles elsewhere inside the college campus shall be penalised or the cycle may be sent to the police station as unclaimed property. |

12) |
Discipline General :
i) Students are expected to conduct themselves in manner that will not tarnish the good name of their alma mater. |
|
ii) Regular attendance maintenance of silence in the class room, college library, proper use of leisure hours healthy participation in the activities of the college provide a sense of belongingness to Institution. |
|
iii) Every student is expected to wear neat and gentle dress and be polite and gentle in his/her manner and speech. |
|
iv) Students should treat their fellow students as brothers and sisters and their teachers and guardians as superiors. |
|
v) Students should not be rude to the office staff not behave with them in a discourteous manner. Any complaint regarding official lapses should be brought to the notice of the Principal. |

vi) Students are forbidden to ride motorcycle scooters and two wheelers within the campus during the college hour. They will be penalised if found to do so. |

vii) The college exists for the purpose of education, sports, games and cultural activities and politics in college should always be dealt with in a scholarly way in the form of lectures and thoughtful address. The principal many however prohibit all students from attending a political meeting. |

ix) Students should stand in a-queue while depositing the college dues. Issue-Receive of Library book or for any other purpose. |

x) Students should not leave the hall in the midst of any of the college meeting unless it is absolutely necessary. |

xi) Free studentships and aids from S.S.G., S.A.F., Scholarships and other financial assistance may be withdrawn from a student if he/she is found irregular in attending class or examinations or if he/she involved in any act of indiscipline. |

Lecture, Tutorials and Practical :
As soon the Tutorial/ Practical groups are formed a student must find out to which group he/she has been assigned. If a student is not assigned to any group he/she should bring to the immediate notice of the Prof-in-charge of the time table. |

14) |
A students of the college must lead a disciplined life and also abide by such hygienic principals and submit himself/herself to such anti-epidemic procedure as would be laid down by the principal. |

15) |
i) Student must be in the class room before the Lecturer enters the class and be attentive. |
|
ii) Girls students should be allowed to occupy seats in the front rows or seats provided separately for them. |
|
iii) Students not connected with a Lecture should not assemble in front of the lecture-hall nor make noise in the vicinity. |
|
iv) Students are forbidden to loiter on the college verandha when classes are going on. |
|
v) Students coming late and seeking permission to attend the class may be allowed at the discretion of the concerned lecturer. |
|
vi) A student may leave the class room with permission during the course of lecture for reason of in dispensation or valid grounds. |
|
vi) In no circumstance shall teaching be interrupted by any student in the class |
|
viii) Students must maintain pin drop silence near the college campus particularly in the classes shall be liable for disciplinary action. |

ix) Every student is required to attend his/her class regularly and punctually. |
|
x) Students most maintain pin drop silence near the college office, principal's office, Staff common room, college library. They cannot enter into the teacher's common room and principal's office without permission. |

xi) Any disobedience misbehaviors by any student to any member to the staff of the college will be liable for expulsion from the college. |

xii) Students should not resort to any act of violence be way of protest for any difficulty found by them or for any alleged grievances on their part. If there is any it should be first brought to the notice of the concerned proctor and departmental heads and through them if necessary to the principal for solution . |

Notice : |
|
i) All office orders decisions and instructions are given on the college Notice Board placed at different points in the college premises . Every student is expected to go through the notice to be aware of the information. Ignorance of any sort due negligence or otherwise on the part of a student shall not be accepted as an excuse.
ii) Students are forbidden to remove notices from the Notice Board
iii) If clarification or implication of any information given in the Notice Board is desired. Students may contact the Head Clerk or the dealing assistant for the purpose.
iv) Every student should go through the college calendar prospectus lesson plan for his/her own property. |

Use of college premises and property |
|
i) Students should not spit on the wall, floor, pillars or doors of the college building nor they should damage disfigure college walls and paths in any manner.
ii) Students must not tamper with college electric fitting, Furniture, Laboratory fitting, Apparatus, Library Books, Journals, News papers, Catalogues.
iii) In case of any damage to the college property the cost of the property along with the fine shall be realised from the concerned student. |

Punishment : |
|
For any breach of discipline the concerned student shall be reprimanded or punished by a fine or by expulsion or rustication or be detained or weeded out as is demand proper.
The above is only a summary of some of the more common rules is by no means exhaustive. |

Attendance : |
|
A student is required to attend 75% of the attendance of the lecturers and tutorials or practical classes taken separately during the session specific purposes to be recorded in writing. |
